Has anybody developed Smooth_Blue for GL 1.6? There are several issues in version 1.5 including hard-wired english strings and impossibility to see search results from advanced search.

There is one over on the demo site, but it seems to have the same issues you mentioned.

I think the hard-coded English strings have always been specific to this theme but shouldn't be too hard to fix. For the search, try copying over the search templates from the Professional theme.

Dirk,
thanks for suggestions. As you mentioned, hard-wired English strings can be fixed and I did that. However, I am lost with the search as copying files from professional/search did not help and my knowledge of GL internals is rather weak.

Simply copy the files from public_html/layout/professional/search into the "search" directory of the Smooth Blue theme.

bye, Dirk

Thanks Dirk,
I did copy the files, but no change - search does not work. I see that the theme is designed for GL 1.5. Is there anything important in CSS files that might have influence?

I believe I had the same problem a while ago. If I remember correctly you are missing the lists directory in the smooth blue theme.

I updated the theme to include the missing list directory. You can download the archive by finding it thru the demo site or from this direct link. http://www.spacequad.com/filemgmt/index.php?id=495

I finally was able to login to your site. Looks like you got the pills theme installed correctly. Verify you have done the same for the smooth_blue directory. From the Layout and Language tab of My Account, it looks like when you created the root directory for the theme, you may have mistyped it without the underscore between the two names of smooth_blue. Rename that directory to have it with the underscore and I think you should be good to go.
