Hi,
I just wondered if there was a reason why I am not able to post replies anymore, as a member, after logging in. I find myself having to post as anonymous?

Sorry Dirk,
When I have been trying to post replies in the forums here at Geeklog.net I have been having a few problems posting. Ah! It has just happened again. It is when I click on submit, it then comes up with this error,
When I am logged in I do not have a CAPTCHA string to enter.
Thought I should mention it.
Lizard.

Right. Anonymous users will have to enter a CAPTCHA, registered users don't.
Are you not seeing the CAPTCHA when not logged in? Erm, no, that can't be the problem. I'm confused now
bye, Dirk

Hi Dirk,
When I am logged in, I type in my message to post on the forum and when I click on Submit It actually logs me out of Geeklog. This is when the error comes up. My message stays on the screen, but as an anonymous user, which is when I need to type in the CAPTCHA string to submit the message.
I hope this is a bit clearer to understand.

I was going to say that it may have been bad luck - your session cookie expiring in the middle of something. But it did happen to me a couple of times today while preparing the 1.7.0b1 release announcement - I hit "preview" and found I was logged out.
Something's wrong here. I have a feeling it is specific to this site, though. Will keep an eye on it ...
bye, Dirk
