Incorrect database information

Error
"Sorry, but the database information you entered does not appear to be correct. Please go back and try again."

However I did provide the correct information. I saw that someone else had this issue and said it was fixed but they didn't say what the fix was.

What am I missing?

Let me add, this is my first install of 1.7.0

The database password can not be empty - could that be it?

No it's not empty I have a username and password. I'm not that good with MySQL but I managed to get it to work in the past. You know me Dirk I've only got 20 domains on Geeklog but they are all pre-1.7.0, not that that has anything to do with it. Heck I think I'm even pre 1.5. It very well could be MySQL itself.

I just pulled up the source of /install/index.php and it looks like it's looking for db-config.php in the wrong place. The plot thickens!
