Media Gallery. Need to export albums

I need to export albums, original files, into folders or something I can use.
All the files seem jumbled up in various directories that have no meaning.
I cant find anything in the gallery admin 1.5.0 to do this.
Is there a way to get all my albums out in an orderly fashion?
I need to back them up and store them in a way that is usable and structured that I can find the individual photos later.
