How do I create a hyperlink for an image in an article?

How do I create this hyperlink for an image in my article? They image shows.. but no hyperlink.

If it is 1 picture it should work like this in story editor setting 'html'

I know that's normally how it's done.. but I asked the question because that doesn't work for me. It removes the target="_blank" when I save.

In the Config >> Miscellaneous >> HTML filtering: you can set Skip HTML Filter for Root to true to allow you all html.

Michael, putting Adsense in you articles is easier if you use the Autotags plugin. This plugin allows you to make an autotag like [adsense-rectangle:] or [adsense-banner:] which generates the Adsense code which you stored in the Autotags admin.
