Hi all. I know there are many threads on how to customize this, but I can't find the best way for setting it up. How should I go about creating a block that contains an RSS feed for 1 topic only? I have created the feed in my content Syndication link, but what I was hoping for the block, is to have a feed containing just the last 10 titles for a particular topic.

Kind regards,
Amy

So you want to display your own RSS feed in a block?

Go to the admin's Blocks section, create a new block of type "portal block" and fill in the section for portal blocks.

bye, Dirk

I had tried that.. and just tried again, but the block doesn't even show up. I selected my topic there, Type = 'Portal Block' and put in my feed url. My block won't show up though. I assume if I'm using the 'Feed URL' for the block, I wouldn't need to add 'Block Content'?

head to /admin/syndication.php and create the feed from there.

Hi supr, I didn't have any problem creating the feed there (though I'm really just wanting story titles only). I just can't seem to find a way to display it in my sidebar in a block.
Thanks.

Working now. I thought I needed to select the topic in the topic dropdown (of the block), but after I changed it to 'All', it started working fine.
Thanks!
