Locale and Timezone not working

MrG

New to Geeklog. Just setting up my system, and can't get the time to change on my site. I live in West Central Florida, USA, and my hosting service is in Texas, USA, which is one (1) hour behind us.

I am using the Ivy_Leaque theme.

I've tried EVERY timezone indicated and nothing changes. I changed my "Locale" to en_US and that doesn't effect anything.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks.

There are two timezone settings: One for the site in general (mainly for anonymous visitors) and one per user (under My Account). See http://wiki.geeklog.net/index.php/Timezone_Support

bye, Dirk

Thank you Dirk.

Went through the admin settings over and over and never thought of loking in the "My Account". Just took for granted that they would both be controlled by the site configuration.

Just have to get used to the way Geeklog works.

Thanks again for the quick response, steering me in the right direction.
