Is possible use the "search engine" in a specific file?, I mean any custom file ( not a plugin). I readed the wiki, but only applied for plugins. :pray:

The search engine code doesn't have any custom hooks. What you could do is to write a minimal plugin. It's not really that hard and would give you access to the plugin API.
