Event as a story

Anyone come up with a way to have the Event submission show up as a Story when created? Short of doing a copy and paste. I'm using 1.4.1

I haven't heard of anyone doing that but it would be possible by modifying the code when an event is submitted and adding an additional sql statement that inserted a story into the story table.
