Error - Bad parameters to mail() funtion, mail not sent

I use geeklog in my web site, but when a new user subscribe, it get the following error:

"Unfortunately, an error has occurred rendering this page. Please try again later."

The log file has:
dom 02 oct 2011 21:48:27 MST - 2 - mail() [function.mail]: Bad parameters to mail() function, mail not sent. @ /home/content/09/7820309/html/myweb/config/system/pear/Mail/mail.php line 153

Somebody help me please!!

Well, I think error happen when i change languange to Spanish. English language works fine. However, I Reinstalled geeklog, clear history of firefox, and now works perfectly.

Yes it work fine, but after new installation and no mark utf-8.
