ui translation problem

Hello, geek forks. As a new user, I really enjoy the feel and features Geeklog brings me. but the translation in my lanauge is not good. And I noticed that some strings are impossible to translate properly with the current transaltion source string.
For example:
X $"stories in last" Y $"minutes" which needs to be translated into
"in last" Y "minutes, there are " X "stores" in my lanague, the structure looks long but actually even shorter than English in my lanauge.
Is there any way I can help ? I understand I there are many lanauges there, A single change to source string will affect all other languages.
I wonder if there is any gettext support on the roadmap ? I saw there is GL2 section. If not now, it could still be a good feature to add to this next epic release :-)
Any info regarding the translation problem? Thanks in advance.

We can always use new translators.
Dirk (http://www.geeklog.net/users.php?mode=profile&uid=408) would be the best one to talk about this but the main thing he will need from you is just the updated language files.
For issues like you ran into below about the translation problem I would enter a bug report (http://project.geeklog.net/).
