Need help with my public_html

Hi all, I'm new. My hosting acct is go daddy. They automatically installed Geeklog for me. But now it's showing as http://www.sharing....com/public_html. I know I'm not suppost to have this Public_html showing. I have no idea what to do with it. I've tried typing in different paths in the address bar http://www....com/admin/install/install.php. It is a constant redirect. I only knew to type that in from reading other forum posts? I have no clue how to do this. Can somebody help me and don't be afraid to explain it like you're talking to a 2 year old cause I have no experience on these things. Thanks so much, Cheryl

Host's "One-Click" installs rarely install the software the way the authors intend.
It would be better if you installed it yourself and you would gain better understanding of the app.

Is the site working? It is not wrong to have public_html in the visible path for 2 years olds... if it works Mr. Green
