Instalation problem

Can someone help me?
Installation stops at the third stage and tells me that I do not have permissions to the file index.php
This applies to different versions of the GL

Can you quote the exact error message, please?

At a guess, it sounds more like a problem with file permissions than with Geeklog itself, but let's see the error message to get a better idea.

Thank You for qiick reply Dirk
When I put button "Install" (3rd step), it said me:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /admin/install/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I try GL versions from 1.6.0 to 2.0.0... always some message
When I install Geeklog from CPanel - Fantastico, it work good, but on my server is available older version....
I don't know...
I'm learning...
