Missing edit rights in Group Editor

Had to resurrect an old geeklog site and ran across this problem and want to get it fixed before I do any updates to the database and site. The site was on 1.5.0 and found that I cannot access the syndication editor as its missing from the admin section, plus no links to it either. So I found it was listed still in the database under gl_syndication and also in the groups, but with no edit rights under is. How can I restore the edit rights for admins? See attached image.

You would have to use phpmyadmin to fix this.

Find out the Syndication Admin grp_id in the groups table (mine is 5)

See if the syndication.edit record still exists in the features table. If it does then grab it's id (mine is 8). If not add it to the feature table (ft_name="syndication.edit", ft_descr="Access to Content Syndication", ft_gl_core="1"Wink

Then look for the record in the access table with a acc_ft_id = 8 and acc_grp_id= 5. If it doesn't not exist then create it.

For your problem you will be either missing the record from the features table or the access table or maybe even both.

Hope this helps.
