How to create a Splash page for user to login under the static pages in center block

Hello Geeklog team,
Can some one give me a light on how to put the USER_BLOCK to a static page? I would like to require all users to login first then be able to enter the site. I would like to set a static page as the splash page in the index page for every one to sign in.
Thanks for advance.

I guess you could create a staticpage that calls the user block.
I am not sure if it would work 100% or not but the function does return html so it should work.
The not yet released Geeklog 2.1.0 contains some update to the users page which allows visitors to directly access it without a please try again message.

Not sure if this would work for you.

Many thanks Tom,
I got this error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in
........../plugins/staticpages/functions.inc(1559) : eval()'d code on line 1
I don't know why?
Thanks.
