I updated geeklog from 1.4 to 2.1.3.
After that, I tried to activate Staticpages by clicking x mark, but errors occurred.
It looks like the same issue as this:https://www.geeklog.net/forum/viewtopic.php?showtopic=96152
So, I disable the Staticpages plugin, then copy over the new files in public_html/, public_html/admin/, and plugins/.
Once you have copied everything over re-enable the plugin and then hit the update button that will appear next to the forum plugin in the Geeklog Plugin Administration.

I can't see the update button, so just clicked x mark to try to activate it.

The files' version is 1.6, but database says pi_version is still 1.4.3.

Another thing, I dont' have stand-alone staticpages install package, where can I download in geeklog.net?

When you copy over the staticpage files you should probably delete the old files first and then copy the new ones over (as there are some older files that are not used anymore). Make sure you have setup the correct file permissions as before. (depends on host but usually 644 for files and 755 for directories)

Did you deactivate the Staticpage plugin first? You didn't have to as it is part of core and whould have updated along with Geeklog. There is no stand alone Staticpage Plugin install. You just have to copy over the files from the full Geeklog Install package.

I can't see the update button, so just clicked x mark to try to activate it.

Are you using a theme that supports Geeklog 2.1.3? Use one of the included themes with Geeklog 2.1.3 until you have completed the upgrade just in case the theme you are using doesn't have all the latest changes.

OK I'll try it again.

Would the professional theme be OK for installation process?
Any theme selection before installation seem to automatically deactivated and replaced by denim after installation.

It could be... I can't remember.

Not ideal but if things don't work out... If you don't have too many staticpages you could copy them and then completely uninstall the plugin before the Geeklog upgrade and then reinstall the plugin on Geeklog 2.1.3 and add back your pages...

pi_name | pi_version | pi_gl_version | pi_enabled
xmlsitemap 2.0.0 1.8.0 1
sitemap 1.0.3 1.4.0 1
staticpages 1.6.9 1.4.3 1
calendar 1.1.5 1.0.0 1
polls 2.1.8 1.1.0 1
links 2.1.5 1.0.1 1

It seems succeeded to upgrade core plugins, the numbers for pi_gl_version looks weird though.

Thanks.

Yes the Geeklog minimum version looks to be off but that shouldn't affect their functionality.

In Geeklog 2.2.0 those all get updated so the correct values will be displayed.

The final version of Geeklog v2.2.0 should be released next week sometime.
