Is it ok to change the owner of an article?

There is an article which is written by person A.
Is it ok to change the owner of the article to person B?
I'm thinking about changing the uid of the article in mysql.

That should be fine. The only issue that may come up is if the new owner edits the article and doesn't have the appropriate permissions for the topics it belongs too.
